After acquiring Donte' Stallworth from the Saints yesterday, the Eagles are now looking to trade Todd Pinkston. Pinkston missed all of the 2005 season with an Achilles injury and still admits to being less than 100%. Len Pasquarelli reports that three teams are interested in the gangly wideout and amazingly two of those teams consider him a starter. I have no idea which teams these might be (given Matt Millen's track record you have to figure Detroit is in the mix by default), but depending on how the rest of the week goes, the Dallas Cowboys might be looking for some help.

On second thought, knowing Drew Bledsoe's predilection for throwing medicine balls coupled with Pinkston's Kate Moss-like figure, it would only be a matter of time before some lurking safety literally broke him two.

The best thing for Pinkston might be to take another year off, make sure his Achilles is completely healed, work out with David Boston this off-season and then give it another go in 2007. That way, when somebody calls him "Stinkston" he'll actually be able to stick up for himself instead of us having to listen to some reporter do it for him.
