Rumors have been flying around for days now about whether or not Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri has a broken bone in his ankle. The team has been denying all reports that Vinatieri's ankle is broken and stands by their idea that it is only a sprained ligament. However, according to NFL.com, a player close to Adam says that he believes the kicker has a broken bone in his ankle and could miss a part of the season. Yikes...This obviously puts some worry into Colts fans' heads. The team finally got rid of that "idiot kicker" and now it has to deal with this? Hopefully it is nothing serious and Vinatieri can be in the game versus the Giants on the 10th. I wish him a speedy recovery. He is going to be a great asset to the team. But an injury to the ankle of a kicker is a bit troubling.
At least we know he can make clutch playoff kicks.
