Auburn Moves Up To Number Two In AP Poll

As expected, Auburn moves up to number two in this week's Associated Press poll. Following Saturday's 7-3 win over LSU and combined with Notre Dame's loss at home against Michigan, the Tigers jumped a spot in the latest poll. Ohio State remains number one after defeating Cincinnati 37-7.

LSU falls only four spots to number ten after the narrow loss. Meanwhile, the Irish drop all the way to number 12 in the poll. The top 10 looks like this:

  1. Ohio State
  2. Auburn
  3. USC
  4. West Virginia
  5. Florida
  6. Michigan
  7. Texas
  8. Louisville
  9. Georgia
  10. LSU

The Tigers also jumped a spot in the Coaches Poll, coming in at number three. It's top three has OSU (1), USC (2) and then Auburn. The Tigers take on Buffalo this Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from Jordan-Hare Stadium.
