That's the word from his publicist, anyway. Owens was hospitalized earlier this evening and doctors induced vomiting. The cause at the moment is believed to be an allergic reaction to some pain medication he was taking for his broken hand.Crisis averted, it seems, although the plans for him to return to practice may have to be put off by a day or two. Owens broke his hand a week and a half ago in a Sunday night game against Washington, and it didn't look like the injury would cause him to miss any time. I have no idea if this newest incident has the potential to keep him out of any game action, but hopefully, doctors can get it under control have Owens comfortable and in good shape pretty quickly.
Obviously, no one's done anything wrong here (unless Owens bought his the medication that caused the reaction from Terrence Kiel), but I'm sure it's something that Bill Parcells and the Dallas Cowboys could've done without. If it involves Owens, it's going to make headlines ... and for whatever the reasons, Terrell Owens is just a headline magnet.
More on this in the morning, I'm sure. Stay tuned.
