Given the degree of venom that the folks in Philly possess regarding the Dallas Cowboys and former Eagles/current Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens, FOX plans to take precautions aimed at preventing any FCC-prohibited images and/or words from being broadcast via the public background to the network's on-site pregame show. It's probably a good idea they don't divulge any specifics because, you know, we booed Santa Clause once.. like half a century ago.
Scott Ackerson, the coordinator producer of the FOX pregame show, tells us that steps will be taken in this regard, but he has declined to divulge any of the specific strategies that are under consideration.
Here is a clip from Monday's ESPN Packers broadcast. I'm pretty sure this was the pregame. Things got a whole lot worse at half time when Irvin was talking. Fans referring to certain incident involving Irvin and some sort of smoking instrument, etc. It was brutal.
