Auburn's meltdown Saturday afternoon against Arkansas costs them nine spots in the AP poll and seven spots in the Coaches Poll. Surprisingly, the Tigers only dropped to 10th in the Coaches poll after previously being third. It was much worse with the writer's. Auburn dropped out of the top 10 in the AP Poll for the first time this season, falling all the way to number 11.
Meanwhile, Auburn's opponent this Saturday, Florida jumped to number two in the AP and number three in the Coaches Poll. Ohio State remains in the top position in both polls. Shockingly, USC stays number two in the Coaches Poll despite struggling against Washington this weekend. Auburn may be out of the running for the title, but the poll controversy continues.
Auburn takes on Florida this Saturday night from Pat Dye Field at Jordan Hare Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:45 CST and will be televised by ESPN.
