Does it really come as a surprise to anyone that Edgerrin James' lips are still moving after another horrid performance? For the last few weeks he's found anyone and everyone to place blame on other than himself and this week is no different. After a 13 carry 34 yard performance against the Oakland Raiders, James is starting to sound a little disappointed in his decision to join the Cardinals in the desert.
"I got a lot of warnings," James said when asked about coming to Arizona.
That's a great way to inspire your teammates and raise moral! Way to go James! Toss them oh so casually under that bus. The best thing he could do right now is finally accept some blame for the horrid rushing attack, but he is to
proud arrogant to do that. Instead he justifies giving up at the line of scrimmage.
"I'm just out there, trying to run, looking for somewhere to run and put it where I'm told to put it at," James said.
Well that's a tad contradicting, no? Looking for a place to run and running where you're told are two different things. In reality Edge just does not care anymore and he's
getting his paycheck either way so why bother? I am tired of hearing that it's just the offensive line; its not! This is on Edge and every week he fails it becomes more and more obvious.
