Michigan Fans Next on the ESPNU Hitlist

It's unlikely anyone outside of Michigan fans really care, but Michigan-Ball State has been relegated to ESPNU, a network that may or may not exist. As far as I know, no Michigan cable station has deigned to carry the Worldwide Leader in women's crew, so the vast majority of people interested in the game will miss it, even those paying for Gameplan.

This is deeply irritating, as the exposure Michigan gets in Southeast Michigan is taking a step back. Before the days of the U -- seems things named that are having a rough time -- a local affiliate would be guaranteed to pick up the syndicated broadcast of the game.

Yadda yadda yadda ESPN is evil, etc, etc. At the very least, this isn't going to happen on the future: the new Big Ten Network will pick up all these games. Enjoy it while you can, evil game-stealing demons.
