Here we go again. The day after after I pledged my love for the Titans, PacMan Jones went and got himself arrested in Mufreesboro, TN for public intoxication. Now, it's Rob Reynolds' turn for a brush with the law. A warrent has been issued for his arrest in conjunction with an assault of his soon-to-be-ex-wife. Surely I don't have to tell you that Reynolds went the THE Ohio State University and said altercation took place in Columbus this past weekend. This isn't a first for Reynolds -- he choked a Wisconsin player when he was at THE OSU.
It is true that this incident merely places the Titans as mere also-rans in the NFL Felony Sweepstakes, but it sure moves OSU into the upper levels of NCAA thugdome, right up there with Miami, far and away the winner and still champion in this venue.
And I am sorry to be treating something as serious as this with such a light hand, but as time goes by, the behavior of athletes has moved beyond the pale. I'm secretly really angry, but can only manage to deal with it here with laughter.
