No offense, credit card fraud, hardcore discipline for beer purchasing, and one more embarrassment.
UConn football player Donald Thomas has been suspended for two games after being arrested Sunday by campus police and charged with assault in the third degree and breach of peace after a fight in Wings Over Storrs, a local restaurant.

According to the report, police observed a fight taking place inside the restaurant. Thomas, a senior from West Haven, was immediately apprehended and identified by witnesses and the victim as the person responsible for causing the disturbance inside the restaurant and striking one of the employees.
Buying beer and lying to a coach about it will get you kicked off the team (after the game). Swinging on a townie selling greasy wings is a two game suspension. UConn Coach Randy Edsall really needs to distribute a chart prior to the start of the season to set out the standards for various transgressions.

Thomas is a senior and back-up left guard who has appeared in all the game this season. A former walk-on who earned a scholarship for his final season. Well done. Not like the Sunday night game on ESPN with Rutgers won't be looking for filler material to discuss.

I have to say, after the realignment of the Big East, USF was expected to take the Miami role of school causing the most embarrassing incidents. There's no denying the Bulls got off to an outstanding start during the off-season, but it seems the Huskies wish to make this more of a competition.
