Earlier this week at the Ravens training facility in Owings Mills, Maryland, Bart Scott did his best to deny that he tried to injure Reggie Bush during Sunday's Ravens-Saints blowout in New Orleans. Apparently, the two had been going at it all afternoon long when Scott decided that he had had enough:
"The media darling, aka the golden boy of the NFL, tried to take a cheap shot at me, so I told him I was going to put some extra on it," Scott said after the game. "He must be used to playing against these guys in practice. He can do all those shakes he wants, but I wasn't going anywhere. I put a little hot sauce on the ankle."
Later, he tried to "revise and extend his remarks" -- most likely in anticipation of some heat that was likely to come his way from NFL HQ in New York.

So did Scott inted to injure Bush? I think it's clear he was trying to make a point, but you can watch the video below and decided for yourself. But make sure you listen closely to the audio at about the 43 second mark.
Ray Lewis can't catch a break.
