Surprise! Surprise! Auburn Jumped Again In The BCS

In a shocking surprise, Auburn remains sixth in this week's B(C)S Standings. As sure as the leaves are changing colors in the South, Auburn was jumped yet again by another team in this week's poll. The lucky winner - Texas. The Longhorns jumped from seventh to fifth after defeating Oklahoma State, 36-10.

You know, I've given up making sense of this whole thing. It's becoming apparent that Auburn is headed for an 11-1 season and no shot at the SEC or national championship. I really can't figure out why a team jumps from one week to the next. Luckily, I've got good company - everyone else.

I really don't have a problem with Texas jumping the Tigers. They are rated higher in the human polls. That, I can understand. As for how Florida remains ranked higher than Auburn, I haven't a clue. The more I watch Arkansas, the more I'm beginning to think they may be better than both (we know they are 17 points better than Auburn).

Auburn moved up one spot in the AP, Coaches and Harris Poll, going from sixth to fifth. Of course, the only poll that counts is this crap we're dealing with now. Up until last night I really thought that if Auburn won out things would take care of themselves. Now I'm not so sure.
