Looking Back at the Redskins Victory With YouTube
Carlos Rodgers and Sean Taylor Walk It Out with DJ Unk (via Chris Mottram at Saved by the Blog)
This is simply the latest example of a great music video being brought to life on the football field (I'll take DJ Unk over Jim Jones and Dipset on this one). One of the big differences I noticed between games in Indianapolis versus Washington is the music. Poor Cato June must feel like he's playing in 1991 half of the year. Television timeouts at FedEx Field occasionally turn into a testing ground for evening at Dream...and I love it. Two things the defense has been lacking in the past few weeks have been confidence and a more relaxed attitude. When a unit struggles the team tends to stiffen up quite a bit, every now and then I want to see them dance like 93,000 people are watching.
Nick Novak's ultimate triumph
Without question the greatest moment of the season. For the second straight year the ending of a Dallas game has resulted in pure joy. Although Santana Moss' two ridiculous touchdowns may have been the best plays of the Gibbs Era Redux, nothing can match the magical feeling of Sunday's result. Thanks to YouTube we can experience the climactic moment over and over again.
This Dallas fan was slightly less than pleased
This guy is pure gold. Who is this glorious man and why the hell would he record and post such a video? I can't imagine anybody appreciating the brilliance aside from a few Washington fans still drunk on glee. Whatever the reason, I cannot thank him enough. When the Skins lose games they could have won (and I've been through more than enough of those) I feel just like this guy, only I don't record my thoughts on video and post them on the internet ... I usually just drive home in silent rage, it's much more therapeutic. What are the chances this guy is a youth football coach?
