Today was not a sunny day in Philadelphia. It was one of those days someone calls you at 10am to tell you that a couple of tickets to the Eagles game fell into your lap. Being an Eagles fan, you take the tickets despite the predictions of a cold, windy, soggy day.

Thank goodness the Birds were playing the Washington Redskins. The dampness did not hamper the spirits of the Iggles fans today. Sure we may not have been as amped up for the Skins, but the Birds were also well ahead for the majority of the game.

The first half was fairly dry with just a constant drizzle. In the second half however, the sky opened up quite a bit and Birds fans became drenched. That picture above sums it up pretty well. Check out the guy on the right with the mesh hat OVER the hood. That's a big time move right there.

A few more pictures as well as a video after the jump.

Donovan and Brian discuss the rising barometric pressure.

That camera man looks like he has been working out.

The view of the back of some guys head, much like I saw all day.

Fore more of my photos from the Eagles v. Redskins game check out my flickr photo set.

And a video of Westbrook and McNabb being introduced before the game.
