Josh Brown: "The Dude" the Seahawks Rely On

Now that Josh Brown has accounted for half of the Seahawks' wins in the final seconds of games this year, it's only fair we take a deeper look at his role on the team.

In this video from Grant Wistrom's Halloween Bash, Brown -- dressed as The Dude from The Big Lebowski -- works the mic as he interviews his teammates. It's worth a watch to see Wistrom as Ronald McDonald, Seneca Wallace as an inmate, Craig Terrell as Superman, Matt Hasselbeck as... um, some kind of Roman caesar? And of course, the winner for best costume, Robbie Tobeck as Mike Holgren.

Okay, so Brown doesn't have quite the natural ease on-screen as Hasselbeck does, but I got to thinking... on what other NFL team would the kicker have the kind of confidence and (dare I say?) leadership and star power to be comfortable conducting these kinds of interviews? This is a man who deserves Carrie Underwood.

(Also, -100 points to Blitz for messing up a perfectly good interview with the Sea Gals. Damn mascots.)

POTENTIALLY SEXY UPDATE: FanHouse reader "yearsago" writes: "[Brown] was just on the radio here in Seattle, says that [he and Underwood] are in contact..and that he sent her flowers at the CMA's." As always, I'll keep you updated as (and if) the situation develops.
