Big (Shake-Up) Plans for 2007 Cardinals

It does not come as a surprise to hear about the Cardinals looking toward next year. At 1-8 what else is there really to hope for? A 7-0 run and an 8-8 finish? Ha, wouldn't that be something; and I'll win the lotto.

So what is the chit-chat about? No it's not about finding offensive line help, no it's not about the NFL Draft, it's about getting rid of not only Dennis Green but Rod Graves as well.

So why not do it already? Well, the boys over at Pro Football Talk seem to be right on queue with that - trying to reduce the buyout price on Green. Sure the Bidwill's would make a statement in firing Green now but it would cost them money and we all know the Bidwill's hate "wasting" money. (Ha, little joke right there.)

No matter what happens from here until the end of the season one thing is becoming very clear. Whether or not he quits, Dennis Green is out of Arizona and it looks like Ron Graves is going with him. While that may be a happy thought for most Cardinals fans, there should be some fear and concern about whom the Bidwill's will replace him with.
