Titans Score 24 in the 4th Quarter, Beat Giants

And it's official: the New York Giants have collapsed. Sure, they've suffered a lot of injuries on both sides of the ball, but I'm not sure that has anything to do with quarterback Eli Manning winging interceptions all over the field like he's a recently concussed Ben Roethlisberger.

The Giants started the season 1-2, tight end Jeremy Shockey made some not-so-nice comments about Tom Coughlin and the play-calling, and then the team went on a five-game winning streak.

Two weeks ago, New York blew an early lead against the Bears and last Monday night they were outclassed by a Jacksonville team that just lost to Buffalo.

In Sunday's game against the Titans, the Giants jumped out to a 21-0 lead and then proceeded to let rookie quarterback Vince Young lead three -- three! -- fourth-quarter touchdown drives (2 passes, 1 run) ... in the final nine minutes of the game.

In fact, the final TD pass -- to Brandon Jones -- tied the score at 21 with 44 seconds left on the clock. I'll turn to the play-by-play to paint the rest of this picture:
NY GIANTS
1-10-NYG19 (:40) (Shotgun) E.Manning pass short middle to D.Tyree to NYG 28 for 9 yards (D.Thornton).
2-1-NYG28 (:32) (Shotgun) E.Manning pass deep right intended for D.Tyree INTERCEPTED by A.Jones at NYG 49. A.Jones to NYG 49 for no gain (D.Tyree).

TEN TITANS
1-10-NYG49 (:23) (Shotgun) V.Young pass short right to B.Scaife pushed ob at NYG 38 for 11 yards (J.Bell).
1-10-NYG38 (:18) (Shotgun) V.Young pass short left to B.Jones to NYG 31 for 7 yards (K.Dockery).
2-3-NYG31 (:11) R.Bironas 49 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-K.Amato, Holder-C.Hentrich.
Final score: Titans 24 Giants 21.

So the former first-overall pick, who in his third year in the league was finally supposed to be the guy, continues to be just some guy. Meanwhile, the Titans 2006 first-round pick, Vince Young is playing like the seasoned vet, and he ended the day 24-of-35 for 249 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs.

After an abysmal start to the season, Jeff Fisher has this young Titans team going in the right direction. Tom Coughlin and the Giants? Not so much.
