Vince Young Outplayed Eli Manning When It Mattered

I haven't been this excited after a game in years. The Titans' 4th quarter comeback had me jumping up and down and screaming like a tiny little girl. And I have a nearly broken foot.

I have to be honest. When the score was 21-0, I was just praying the Titans could manage not to get blanked and maybe even cover the spread. So much for lowered expectations. Vince Young looked like, well, Vince Young and Eli Manning looked god-awful in the 4th quarter. His first interception to Pacman Jones was the turning point in the game and the second interception was one of the worst thrown balls I've seen in a while.

Young kept the ball in a couple of key plays, including a sweet 4th and 10 run for a first down and a little sneak into the end zone that had me high-fiving complete strangers who were sitting next to me - thereby scaring half the bar. And he managed to elude a sure sack that kept the ball moving for the Titans.

So, three of the Titans' wins this year are against the Redskins, the Eagles and now the Giants. Look out NFC East. You better take the "lowly" Titans seriously.

This mammoth, 24-points-in-the-fourth-quarter comeback only serves to remind us what we have to look forward to in the future. I'm serious about this. Jones, Young and Travis Henry make a girl proud to call herself a Titans fan.

Hooray, bourbon-laced Kool-Aid!
