In a nutshell, Rainey, a star Lakeland High running back, admitted to accepting gifts from Lakeland locals while a running back at Lakeland High School. Actually, it's the way Rainey admitted it that's interesting: he blabbed all to the Miami Herald.
FHSAA (the Florida High School Athletic Association) is investigating. According to the Miami Herald, Lakeland may have to forfeit all of the games in which Rainey played.
Rainey is a "verbal commit" to Florida. Not so sure he will be after this, though.
