Chiefs rookie Defensive End Tamba Hali is having a decent enough year. He has 5 sacks on the year, 4 forced fumbles, and almost 50 tackles. That's instant production from a first-rounder, and that's what you like (assuming you are a Chiefs fan). If you are a Chargers fan you certainly don't like the rookie calling your team 'soft':"After running the film we didn't think they were as physical as we faced (earlier this year). The Steelers were physical. We played a physical game there. We were all banged up when we came out of there. Looking at the film, we know they (the Chargers) were a finesse team. We didn't think they were that physical a team, so we thought we could get after them."
Okay so maybe the guy had a right to talk after his team beat San Diego, but lets not forget that the win came in Arrowhead and off a Lawrence Tynes field goal with 0:06 seconds left. But a win is a win, and the Chargers have all but forgotten since it was the last time they lost a game, and it came like seven or eight weeks ago. Or did they forget it? Well, LT certainly remembers those comments:
"What sticks out in my mind is them calling us soft last game. Obviously as a player, when somebody calls you soft, you don't like it too much. Finesse team or whatever you want, (but) we're not a soft team. We can play any game that you want us to play. They beat us and that was our last loss, but they said we were soft. We'll see."
I'm expecting the Chargers to run it down the Chiefs throats, with big left tackle Marcus McNeil dominating DE Tamba Hali. Like LT said, we shall see...
