Vince Young Graces SI Cover, Again.

Looks like I'm not the only Vince Young fangirl out there. He just garnered his third Sports Illustrated cover story in 2006 and the fourth in 13 months.

The cover has a shot of him running with the ball; with the subhead "Four In A Row" which refers to the four-game winning streak the Titans are enjoying these days. He is also quoted on the cover as saying "I Can Do Whatever It Takes to Win." So maybe I was wrong in my earlier assessment that he can't be the hero every game.

I am just about the most superstitious sports fan you'll ever see, but even I have to say that maybe my boy VY has managed to elude the SI Cover Curse. He's been on the cover three times this year and is still leading the Titans to a season that is just flat-out better than most of us could have expected.

Welcome Sports Illustrated readers, to the Titans/VY bandwagon. We've been waiting for you.
