Prisoners Enjoy NBA League Pass

I'm pretty sure David Stern wasn't seeking the hardened criminal demographic when he approved of the NBA League Pass a few years ago. Though if you watch the way Bruce Bowen plays defense, you might think he's playing under prison rules.

Anyway, according to the "Sonics Insider" at The News Tribune, Sonics guard Earl Watson has a huge support group from his neighborhood back in Kansas City. Did I mention that some are in jail?
He said a lot of people from his neighborhood are in jail, and he'll get calls from then saying, "Hey, we saw you on league pass last night. Way to represent the neighborhood." He said he was like, "Where are you?" They tell him the penitentiary. And he said he was like, "They have league pass in the pen?"
So how long before the NBA seeks advertising dollars from this growing market? Dare I say soap on a rope or Jimmy's Bail Bonds commercials on NBA-TV?
