At Least Troy Williamson Is Honest

The Vikings' 2005 first-round pick, Troy Williamson, the guy who was supposed to replace Randy Moss, has had a tough go of it in his first two professional seasons. According to the Startribune.com:
Vikings receiver Troy Williamson had his eyes checked earlier this month, doesn't believe in sports psychologists and blames his 11 dropped passes this season on nothing or no one but lost confidence that he feels he's regaining.
If nothing else, give the guy credit for being honest. Unlike another big-play wideout who's dropped 15 freakin' passes this year, Williamson takes fully responsibility.

I know this doesn't change the fact that the Vikings need him to hang onto the ball, but it's a start, I guess. Williamson lost his starting job during Week 11, has 30 catches for 380 yards, but has yet to score a touchdown in 2006.

Williamson sounds like a good guy, and anybody who's willing to give a Q & A under such circumstances deserves some credit. Hopefully, he'll be able to turn things around. And oh, yeah, I'm blaming Brad Johnson for this too.
