Dear Santa Claus,
We've been good here in Buffalo. When you're putting your list together for the Christmas Eve run, can hook up theses requests? Thanks.
For London Fletcher: A ticket to the Pro Bowl. He deserves to go to Hawaii.
For Thurman Thomas: Entrance into the Pro Football Hall of Fame (Santa, if you are feeling generous, Andre Reed, Steve Tasker, and Ralph Wilson should go to.)
For Nate Clements: A new contract, before he hits the open market.
For the NFL schedule-maker: A 2007 calendar. So half off Buffalo's home games don't fall after Thanksgiving, like they did this year.
For J.P. Losman: Movie passes to go see Rocky Balboa. J.P. took a lot of heat during the season, and now look at how he bounced back, overcoming the adversity, a la Rocky. Losman and Buffalo are a good fit.
For Angelo Crowell, John McCargo, Chris Villarrial, Ryan Neufeld, and Josh Stamer: Speedy recoveries, and a healthy 2007.
For Takeo Spikes: Good health in 2007, and a return to the Pro Bowl.
For Roscoe Parrish: More involvement in the offense. The kid is a true playmaker.
For Ralph Wilson: Respect from other NFL owners.
For ESPN talking heads Sean Salisbury, Mike Greenburg, Mike Golic, and every other draft "expert" that ripped the Bills '06 draft: A nice plate of crow to eat. How is the draft class looking now, guys?
For Bills Fans: Wins over Tennessee and Baltimore, Miami beating the Jets, Patriots over Jacksonville, and the Bengals to lose their last two. Which would mean PLAYOFFS. Can you imagine?
For Buffalo: A Championship in June. A vision of Tom Galisano hoisting the Stanley Cup. Can you imagine?
And for all Bills FanHouse readers: A wonderful holiday season to you and your families. I am grateful for your support. Here's to a great 2007!
