Christmas Comes Early for the Texans

Finally, after losing to the Colts 9 times in a row, the Texans win the 10th by a 48 yard winning field goal by Kris Brown for a score of 27-24.

Ron Dayne ran for a career high of 153 yards.

David Carr finished with a passer rating of 104.1 and did not fumble, throw an interception or get sacked.

Brown, Dayne, and Carr have been criticized a ton all season. It's nice to see them be happy.

And the fans leave a game happy. Due to the cold wet weather and holiday, there was lightish tailgating and the crowd arrived a little slow, but once they were there, they were loud and were rewarded with some Christmas cheer.

Please have a nice holiday, and here's some joy to the world, (with exception to Indy fan as I don't feel terribly sorry for y'all because you are going to the playoffs):
