Mike Williams dropped a pass Sunday in the Lions' 26-21 loss to the Chicago Bears. Then he dropped another. And another. And another. And he wasn't done after four: His fifth drop on Sunday came in the end zone with no time left.Williams, the 10th overall pick in the 2005 draft, signed a five-year, $13.5 million contract with the Lions last year. As a rookie he was known more for falling asleep in meetings than for making catches, and this season he's been even worse. Offensive coordinator Mike Martz has said Williams is in terrible shape, and both converted safety Mike Furrey and quarterback Josh McCown have moved ahead of Williams on the wide receiver depth chart.
We've had quite a few Lions qualify as our Overpaid Player of the Week this year. That's what happens when Matt Millen is running your front office.
