Marriage Proposal Only Thing Better Than Two-Point Conversion

Did you catch that made-for-TV movie about the plucky underdog college football team last night? I thought it was pretty good, but I thought the screenwriters went a little too far at the end there. First of all, teams don't run schoolyard-style trick plays for game-winning conversions. And secondly, that marriage proposal seemed like too corny an ending:

Wait a minute. That actually happened? If it had been fiction it wouldn't have been believable, but as an actual game it was maybe the best ever played -- even before the star player proposes to the cheerleader. After the jump, check out the game-winning touchdown and two-point conversion.
If you're like most Americans, you didn't get a whole lot of sleep the night before (New Year's Eve), and you have to work this morning. Since the game went to about 1 a.m. Eastern Time, you can be forgiven if you missed this play:

But can you forgive yourself for falling asleep before such a classic ending?

If you did fall asleep, catch up at FanHouse -- this insta-classic was liveblogged.
