"I guess I just have to say it. I'm not going to be the Alabama coach."
Yeah right, Nick. Thanks a lot.
You know, if you really wanted this job all along and you were just toying with Wayne Huizenga and Dolphins fans, you should have just come out and said it. All the drama that was created was your fault.
You were tired of all the questions and didn't want to answer them? You should have said, "I, in fact, will be the Alabama coach."
I think this proves that Saban is all bout the Benjamins. (Is there a face on a million dollar bill? Because if so he's even more about those.)
Now that he's bolted to Tuscaloosa, Saban has left the Dolphins with their third coaching vacancy in the last eight years. And to quote owner Wayne Huizenga, who I love and all Dolphins fans should too, "We're going to find the right candidate and get back to winning sooner than later."
The top two names that pop in my head for the Fins are Jim Mora Jr. and Cam Cameron, the offensive coordinator of the San Diego Chargers.
Both of those guys would be a good fit.
But getting back to the subject at hand, I can't believe but I really can at the same time how unloyal Nick Saban is. He's been known for jumping ship and he's done it again.
Saban has always looked out for one person and one person only.
Himself.
Don't get comfortable, Bama fans. In two years Nick Saban could become the coach of the Los Angeles Clippers.
And Nick, by the way, have fun losing to LSU.
