Uh-oh, Chiefs fans. The Colts soft and brutal defense might not be as bad as they have looked in the previous weeks, afterall. The Colts will be blessed to have their best defensive player, Bob Sanders, back on the field this week vs. the Chiefs. Bob Sanders has missed all but 4 games this season with a knee injury and will be starting for the first time since week 13. The home fans have only seen Sanders one time this year at home, so you can expect for them to be siked up about their hard-hitting safety returning to the lineup.

Sanders practiced full on Tuesday and Wednesday, and rested a little bit on Thursday, but is still expected to play at full strength.

Don't get me wrong, Sanders isn't going to turn around the Colts defense all by himself, but any Colts fan will tell you Sanders impact on the field will make a huge difference in the pass, and rush defense. Sanders will most likely be rushing for Larry Johnson at the line of scrimmage a bunch of times during this game and can hopefully make some big plays to shut down LJ.

The defense still has a bunch of holes, but hearing that Sanders is going to play is great news, and I speak for all Colts fans when I say: It's about time.
