Because if the speculation here at the end of this mailbag with the Denver Post's Bill Williamson is correct, there's a pretty good possibility that Jake Plummer would end up in a Texans uniform next year.
What is the likelihood that Jake Plummer ends up in Houston with Gary Kubiak next year?I just thought you should know. So you had time to cancel your season tickets. That's like going to the free clinic and hearing the doctor say, "Well, we've cured your syphilis. But we accidentally gave you gonorrhea. Our bad."

Vince - It may be pretty strong.
Look for teams like Houston, Tampa Bay and Minnesota to consider Plummer. While the Broncos would like to trade Plummer, the most likely scenario is that he is released. Houston would likely be his first choice. He and Texans coach Gary Kubiak are very close and they succeeded together.
I don't know. I guess there's a chance it could work. Just for the sake of forced optimism, let's acknowledge that Plummer and Kubiak did have some success together, but it's also true that Jake Plummer hasn't been a good NFL quarterback in a while. Maybe in a different scheme, rolling him out more, going with some bootlegs, Plummer could find some of the old magic. Maybe the lower expectations would help.
Or maybe he's an older, less expensive, more poorly-groomed, more interception-prone David Carr.
