Maybe. Reports are that he's at least been contacted by LSU's Les Miles about becoming the next offensive coordinator at Louisiana State. And right now he's throwing all questions toward Les Miles, LSU and anyone else he can think of. Meaning, maybe, maybe not. Of course, they're trotting out all the incredible stats from BYU, and Louisiana Tech days again, talking about how innovative his offense is and how many yards and points it puts up. And it does, when you've got teams without great defensive ends and cornerbacks you're up against. When you do, you've gotta modify the spread which is what Oregon's apparently up to this off-season.

(Note: Also mentioned were Major Applewhite, who's reportedly taken a similar job at Alabama since this was first posted.)

Crowton would make a lot more money down in The Bayou than he would in Eugene next season. Last year he made a bunch of money from BYU as they stilled owed him from his previosu contracdt. That, coupled with his Oregon contract was about the same amount he'd now make...if he left and went to LSU> Crowton's not listed as the front-runner, or even the only guy by any stretch. But, it's Interesting. Stay tuned.
