We can now add "psychic" to the long list of Gilbert Arenas' talents. Gilbert is not only one of the more charismatic players in the league, he's one of the more clutch players as well. After a pre-game prediction of 37 points and the game-winner, Gilbert delivered big time with 51 and the aforementioned buzzer beater. Go watch how Gilbert (much like the Milwaukee shot) knows it's going in and turns away with his arms triumphantly raised before it actually falls.

As I mentioned, Arenas saw this happening all along, and told teammate DeShawn Stevenson that he was feeling it today:

"I'm going for the gusto. I'm going for that winner. The funny part is I was sitting right here before the game and I told DeShawn: 'I feel like 37 and the game-winner tonight.' So when I told him after the game: 'What did I say?' He just started laughing and said: 'Man, you were right.'''

As for knowing the shot was going in, that's just the confidence that Gilbert has in his game. He knows when he's on:

"I felt like I was in a win-win situation, go to OT or make the shot. I was on fire the last three minutes of the game so there was no point of going in and trying to create two points. Once I felt the ball come out of my hands, I knew it was going in. It had great arc and it was lined up with the rim, so I started celebrating pre-make. I put my hands up because I knew the game was over.''

Yep, another amazing game to add to Gilbert's '06-'07 resume. It looks like that mini-slump we were talking about is just about over.
