Byron Eaton Knows Magic
I hesitate to call it the "Play of the Year," as I'd like a play that goes by that title to involve more of a display of athleticism and skill, as opposed to raw luck. And that's not to say that Byron Eaton's play here didn't involve athleticism and skill, it involved a ton of athleticism and a healthy dose of skill, as well ... but I'm pretty sure that even Byron Eaton would tell you that you don't make a shot like that without also being pretty lucky, too.
So let's call it the "Highlight of the Year." That one even had Rick Majerus out of his chair. When the shot went in, Majerus hopped up onto the broadcast table, ripped his shirt off, put his colleague Dave O'Brien in the airplane spin, and then started leanin' and rockin' with it.
Actually, no, he didn't. But if he would have, it would have been awesome.
And that's just one of the crazy highlights from last night's insane triple overtime Oklahoma State win over Texas. More video evidence is coming soon.
