There are Not Enough Superlatives to Describe Texas vs. Oklahoma State

Let's handle this one like a movie review. We'll throw a bunch of quotes out there that will get you psyched for it, only this time, it won't disappoint.

"Mario [Boggan]'s performance was, I thought, the best I've ever seen."
- Sean Sutton

"I don't know if I'll ever be involved in another one like that."
- Texas coach Rick Barnes

"The best performance I've ever seen by an opposing player at Gallagher-Iba."
- Sean Sutton on Kevin Durant

Here are elements of the Boggan performance that led to the first Sutton quote. The first play you'll see is the game winner he hit with 3.2 seconds left in the third overtime that sealed the win. The second is a play that he finished, set up by some outstanding work from his teammates.

And if you missed this earlier video, the most unreal highlight from the evening, check that one out, too.

Regular season college basketball games do not get better than that. Hell, neither do postseason games. Neither do a lot of games in any sport. "Instant Classic" is not a strong enough description for what went down in Gallagher-Iba last night.

Mario Boggan finished with 37 points and 20 boards for the Cowboys, and JamesOn Curry added 28. For Texas, the incredible Kevin Durant also had 37, while fellow freshman D.J. Augustin had 19 points and 9 assists.

The game recap is here, and you can see the full ESPN highlights of the game here.
