Former USC footballer turned LA Radio personality Petros Papadakis and LA Daily News USC beat writer Scott Wolfe were yucking it up on air yesterday, claiming that the USC players referred to Lane Kiffin as "Coach Lunch Money."

As in, Kiffin is the kind of dweeb they would have beaten up to steal his lunch money.

Papadakis was once the captain of the USC football team and is still close with the program, but he is not above speaking the truth about the Trojan family. Sports By Brooks has a full transcript of Papadakis' original take oh the hiring of Kiffin, you can see here. Some of the highlights:

Comparing Kiffin to Jon Gruden is ridiculous. Gruden had eight years of legitimate coaching experience in the NFL and had been interviewing for head coaching jobs in the league when he was hired by the Raiders...

I know him personally and he doesn't command a lot of respect from the players or other coaches. I never looked at him as head coach material or even offensive coordinator material. He couldn't manage players at USC, how is he going to manage players in the NFL.

And this is from an USC alumni. Be sure to check out the rest at SBB if, for nothing else, the hot chicks.
