Some people want to make the situation in Philadelphia out to be a quarterback controversy. I'm not one of those people. I believe that as soon as McNabb is healthy, the Eagles are his team.

What I want to examine here is the small, yet vocal, group of fans who think Jeff Garcia should be the starter next season and Donovan McNabb should be sent packing. I was sparked by a comment in Ryan Wilson's post about potential suitors for Garcia.
The Eagles need to pony up the cash and sign Garcia and send Mcnabb to Green Bay.
Wait a minute. You want the Eagles to pony up the cash to sign Jeff Garcia who will be 37 next season? All of this while sending Donovan McNabb, the guy who has gotten you to four NFC Championship games and turned this franchise into a perennial contender, packing his bags to Green Bay? This kind of talk has been spread all over the airwaves on talk radio in Philly. While I believe the majority of fans agree that McNabb is the man, the small group of McNabb haters sure are vocal.

I hope the Eagles can bring Garcia back. He'd be real nice insurance in case McNabb isn't ready to go at the start of next season.
