Dunks From The Day: Starks Over Jordan And The Bulls

The Dunk (as it is affectionately known in New York) is great for so many reasons, some of which are listed below:

-Anytime MJ gets dunked on is cause for celebration.

-Marv Albert, who is peerless, makes the call.

-It took place right smack in the middle of the Bulls-Knicks blood rivalry (the '93 Eastern Conference Finals.) Without a doubt, one of the great feuds in sports history.

-The venue is Madison Square Garden, basketball's Sistine Chapel.

-Here's John Starks' recollection of the moment:
"I jumped as hard as I could. All I saw was Horace Grant, I didn't even see Michael. I had no idea who I dunked on, all I was thinking about was getting back on defense.

After the game, I bumped into Michael in the hallway. He shook my hand."
