Figure IU coach Terry Hoeppner is sweating just about now. His big-gun recruit, Jerimy Finch, just came back from a great visit to Florida and now will decide between the Hoosiers and the national champion Gators.

You ready that right. After beating out Michigan to get a commitment from Finch, now Hoeppner has to hope the idea of building something special at Indiana will be more appealing than going to a program poised to become a perennial national title contender.

So what would you do?

Finch is rated as one of the top safeties in the country. He is 6-1 and 203 pounds and was part of four state title teams at Indianapolis Warren Central High School. He is an instant-impact kind of guy who could super charge IU recruiting. Or, he could be just another heart breaker.

Signing day is next Wednesday, so he'll have to make up his mind by then. More than likely, he'll choose in the next couple of days.

For now, all the Hoosiers can do is hope.
