TNT announced the reserves for the 2007 All-Star Game (Sunday, Feb.18th) a few minutes ago on their pregame show.

Representing The East: Caron Butler, Dwight Howard, Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton, Jason Kidd, Vince Carter and Jermaine O'Neal.

Representing The West: Steve Nash, Shawn Marion, Amaré Stoudemire, Carlos Boozer, Allen Iverson, Dirk Nowitzki and Tony Parker.

The big news is that Denver Nuggets superstar Carmelo Anthony wasn't given an All-Star spot. Anthony is the league's leading scorer; never in the NBA's history has a leading scorer not made the All-Star team. Iverson, despite being on the West Coast for a brief period of time was chosen, and it remains to be seen whether or not his teammate will be joining him in Vegas.

David Stern will get to pick two replacement players (Yao Ming and Carlos Boozer aren't able to play due to injury) for the big game, and you would have to think that he'll do the right thing (and look like a hero in the process) by giving 'Melo a much-deserved spot on the team.
