Sacramento Kings coach Eric Musselman pled no contest to a DUI last week in Sacramento County Superior Court and was ordered to pay $580 in fines and penalties. Today it was announced that he will be suspended for the next two games without pay. The decision hardly came as a surprise.

The Kings are coming off an impressive win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, so it'll be interesting to see how they react to their coach's suspension. Nothing would make me happier than Artest sitting out the next couple of games in protest.

Musselman was arrested on October 22nd for driving under the influence of alcohol. He will miss Saturday (Nuggets) and Monday's (Hornets) games, both of which will be played in Sacramento.

It is expected that head assistant Scott Brooks, a former NBA player (he played 11 years in the League), will take over the coaching reins in Musselman's short absence.
