This blog continues the series of updates on the 2008 recruiting outlook by position for Georgia. UGASports.com guru Chad Simmons will undoubtedly provide a plethora of additional profiles to the ones he already has up on 2008 Georgia football recruiting targets after the 2007 class signs its letters of intent on Feb. 7th.
• Projected 2008 WR Returnees: Sr. Mohamed Massaquoi, Jr. Kris Durham, Sr. Kenneth Harris, So. Tony Wilson, Jr. Michael Moore, Rfr. Aron White (will likely split time between WR and TE; was recruited as a WR but wants to play TE), Sr. Demiko Goodman, Rfr. Walter Hill
• Likely UGA WR Signees (2-3)
• Class of 2008 Early Top UGA WR Targets: * A.J. Green, Tavarres King, Joshua Jarobe, Brice Butler, Devonta Bolton, Darvin Adams, Antonio Bell
• Synopsis: This blog assumes 2007 commitment Israel Troupe will opt to exclusively play professional baseball. Green, who has already committed to Georgia, will likely be rated No. 1 nationally in what many experts are already dubbing the best single class of prep receivers ever. With the Bulldogs losing four scholarship senior receivers after 2007, Green has a great chance to start opposite of Massaquoi as a true freshman. King is a dynamic playmaker, who is leaning toward Georgia even though his father played at Clemson. That duo would appear to be all Georgia needs at receiver for 2008, but Mark Richt always oversigns at receiver and the Peach State has a deep and talented class of wideouts next year to choose from.
• Early 2008 UGA Projected Signees: Green, King
