OK, so Indiana coach Terry Hoeppner (pictured) will never be confused with, say, Pete Carroll, when it comes to national recruiting juice. No matter. He's started to pick up recruiting steam in his third season. The Hoosiers are poised to sign a 19-man class that might not wow the national experts, but will meet their needs and continue the surge to a return to bowl relevance.
"Indiana is starting to get legit Big Ten guys now," Lemming said. "They do a real good job of evaluating with the Lynch father and son (Bill and Billy Lynch are assistant coaches). They know where the guys are. It's a matter of beating the rest of the Big Ten on them."
