Monday means five days of work, plenty of day-dreaming, and new polls! Wahoo! New Polls. Though perhaps the Pac-10 would have rather the rankings not come out this week. With Stanford getting swept in the Northwest, the Cardinal are no longer ranked. Thanks for playing. It was swell. And UCLA, despite being without starting point guard Darren Collison and traveling to West Virginia for an early game, the Bruins fall from No. 2 to No. 7 in the Coaches' Poll. The AP has UCLA at No. 5, probably where they deserve to be this week.
Washington State enters the top 10 in the AP at No. 10, but those stubborn coaches aren't quite ready to accept the Cougs as a top-10 caliber team. WSU is No. 11 in the Coaches' Poll.
Oregon comes in at No. 15 in the AP, No. 17 in the Coaches', while Arizona is No. 19 and No. 24, respectively. USC is ranked No. 22 this week in the AP, and No. 23 in the Coaches' Poll, despite Trojans coach Tim Floyd calling for a top five ranking. For the first time in a while, there are no Pac-10 teams getting votes. These five teams have really established their mark in the rankings and at the top of the conference standings.
