With the 12th game added to the schedule, big-time schools around the country are scraping to find any team willing to take a big payday to take a beating on the road to fill at an eight-game home schedule. It looks like Michigan has found their victim, announcing a September 1 contest against Division 1-AA Appalachian State to kick off their eight-game home schedule.
This is worthy of a post for a couple of reasons. First, it drops Michigan out of the ever-diminishing ranks of teams who have never faced a 1-AA opponent, and secondly it gives me a chance to put up this YouTube clip, which will never, ever, ever, ever get old.
