In an AP article today, Bob Knight rails on the new rule forcing kids into college for at least one season - claiming that "It's just a tremendous disservice, the way that it's structured, to the integrity of college sports." He goes on to say that he would have never recruited Kevin Durant, and to repeat that he feels one and done players ruin the integrity of the college game because they wouldn't have to attend class the second semester to stay eligible for that season.

The fact that Kevin Durant absolutely torched Texas Tech in their previous meeting probably has something to do with these comments, his 37 point and 23 rebound performance might have been the single best performance of the season by any player in the country. At this point, there is no indication that Durant hasn't been keeping up with schoolwork or being anything less than a model citizen in Austin. More than anything, this just comes across as sour grapes from Bob Knight.
