Talk about a position that is easy to get behind. Alan Drooz in the San Diego Union Tribune floated this idea today. And he's spot-on in his analysis, except for a few key points. - Brad Holland's a good guy and a good coach.
- He runs a clean program.
Cal State Fullerton was under NCAA probation for transgressions during the Holland era. So it is not so much that he runs a clean program, but rather he just hasn't been caught yet. Obviously he learned his lesson from Fullerton and won't let his assistant coaches pay for classes with credit cards.
So it looks like it is time for Holland to go, and unless he can pull a miracle off in the conference tournament, that's not likely to happen. Especially if he has to rely on his coaching skills.
