The owner of the strip club where a triple shooting occurred says that Pacman Jones didn't own all of the money in the big garbage bag full of $81,000 that the police confiscated.According to Minxx owner Rob Susnar, that money included cash from rapper Nelly and producer Jermaine Dupri as well as some of the collections from a $100 (!) cover charge to get into the club. Susnar says that only $3,500 of the money belonged to Jones, and he doesn't want Pacman to end up getting back thousands of dollars that aren't his.
But Susnar doesn't explain exactly where the $81,000 comes from, since he credits Nelly and Dupri with bringing $10,000 in addition to Pacman's $3,500, so there's a lot of unknown money floating out there unless the club collected cover charges from 6,500 people, which seems unlikely in a small club.
Beyond that, the new Tennessean story has a little additional detail that we haven't read before--both Susnar and a strip club employee who wouldn't allow his name to be used painted Jones as a lesser celebrity who was trying to keep up with Nelly and Dupri. But beyond that, all we find out is that the police still aren't talking and Susnar once again makes it clear that he blames Pacman for the shooting.
