Dirk's Bringing the Sexy Back ... With Justin Timberlake

Dirk Nowitzki and the Dalls Mavericks are rolling everyone in the league so easily right now, that they can take time out of their practices to hang with cheesy pop tart acts like Justin Timberlake. Everyone knows of Dirk's fondness for music - the guy has admitted to listening to David Hasselhoff music - and the big question now becomes: did he attend the JT concert in Dallas?

The Mavs had a special team jersey made for Justin Timberlake, who was scheduled to work out at the team's American Airlines Center practice facility before his Monday night concert. Timberlake, a big basketball fan, met Dirk Nowitzki before a concert a few years ago. No word on whether Nowitzki is a fan of the former 'N Sync frontman.

We don't need your word, Mr. Fort-Worth Star Telegram - there's this photo, which, if there's any justice, will circle the internet in warp speed. If Gilbert Arenas is currently the most beloved player in the NBA, and Shaq's a distant second, then Dirk's got to be in the mix for third. He seems like a cool enough guy, he plays guitar at his sister's wedding in Vegas, and of course, he's one of the best offensive players in the league. Doesn't hurt that his Mavericks have the best record in the NBA.

Get this guy a celebritiy girlfriend and Arenas may have some company at the top of that list.
