A man was arrested Saturday and charged with aggravated assault after he wielded a knife and
threatened Titans cornerback Pacman Jones Friday night. Jones was at a bowling alley in Franklin, Tennessee, according to a local TV station.
Franklin police said that Jones was at the Franklin Family Entertainment Center with family and friends when Clayton Smith came up to Jones, threatening him before pulling out a knife.
So far all indications are that Jones is the victim here. I say "so far" because Jones has a long
rap sheet and was recently accused of starting a fight at a strip club, leading to a shooting that left a man paralyzed. At this point it's hard to give Jones the benefit of the doubt, but he was hanging out at a place called a "family entertainment center," not a strip club, so maybe this time he wasn't looking for trouble.
