Last year's NL Cy Young winner Brandon Webb will reportedly miss his scheduled spring training start on Saturday because of a stiff neck. Manager Bob Melvin isn't sure when the D'Backs ace will be ready to resume his regimen -- which probably isn't a good thing. If you ask Webb, he'll tell you
"I've just been doing light stuff for the past couple of days, but hopefully, I'll be able to get back out there and throw ... This (stimulator) unit that I'm wearing will hopefully kick it in the butt, too."
Dude, Webb, get a masseuse on that thing and get back out there. Between Randy Johnson's back and Livan Hernandez's old age, the Diamondbacks can't afford any other setbacks to their pitching staff.

We now open up our sports book with the odds of Brandon Webb repeating as NL Cy Young winner at 30:1. Any takers?
